Children's Ministry
We believe the faith of a child is precious and worth forming carefully. From Sunday School to Children's Church to Vacation Bible School, we want every child to know they belong to God and to His people.
Sunday Mornings
Sunday School
Sunday School meets at 10:00 a.m. each week, giving children an age-appropriate foundation in Scripture before the morning worship service. Classes are designed to help children understand who God is, what He has done, and how to live as His people.
We believe that forming the faith of a child is one of the most important things a church can do. Sunday School is where that formation begins.
During Worship
Children's Church
Children 3K–3rd grade are invited to come to Children's Church during our service. Upstairs, we worship together through songs, hear a Bible story, and learn how we can apply God's Word to our lives. The class is interactive — kids have fun answering questions, playing games, and singing and dancing.
Of course, children are always welcome to remain in the sanctuary with their families. We are a congregation that loves having children present in worship — little ones included. Please don't feel the need to keep them perfectly still or perfectly quiet. They belong here.
Children's Church meets every Sunday during worship, with the exception of Communion Sundays (the 1st Sunday of the month) and some holidays. Join us — and bring a friend!
Summer
Vacation Bible School
Each summer, Tunica Methodist Church hosts Vacation Bible School — a week of Scripture, songs, crafts, games, and community for children in our congregation and neighborhood. VBS is one of the highlights of our church year.
